In this website design camp, Skillquest students will learn how to build their own gaming clips website through hands-on projects taught by an industry expert. Students will learn through classroom-style teaching, e-learning, and by building the project themselves.

Here is what your students will expect during a typical week at the Website Design Camp. Progress varies by student, so this is the general overview of the student experience and program material.

Students will learn web design basics, be introduced to three website platforms, and choose which platform they would like to build with.

Students will begin building their websites on their desired platforms.

Students will learn how to embed photos and videos to their websites and we will explore greater feature options.

Students will complete their websites and share their work with the class.

Do participants need to know how to code?

No! This camp is designed for beginner-to-intermediate coders and this class uses minimal coding when designing websites.

Will they have a complete website by the end?

Yes! With out simple-to-start process, students will be able to build an entire website from start to finish and have the opportunity to continue on when the class is over.

What website platforms will they learn?

We teach using three of the most popular free website options out there. Students will learn how to use WordPress, Webflow, and Wix. Each student will commit to one platform to build their site with.
